Intro Rock Climbing Sessions

Find a suitable safe parking area near the north end of the roaches, SatNav coordinates: 53.177431, -2.007856 - allow time for parking.  It's then a 15-20 minute up the hilll (SouthEast) towards the trig point.  From the trig point just a further 2-5 minutes walk along the top of the ridge - you will see the UK Global Ventures flags guiding you to the climbing area.

Each participant will be given the opportunity to attempt multiple short climbs (typically 4-6) using different techniques and skills, as well as practicing lowering down from a climb.  Harnesses and helmets will be provided as well instruction.  The session will last for one hour.

If you need to be specific about the time you want to participate, please book as we can only accommodate 6 climbers at a time.  If you're happy to just turn up and wait your turn please pay £10/person on the day (cash only) that is fine.  If the weather dictates that the event is cancelled (light rain is acceptable, persistant rain will lead to the event being cancelled) then a full refund of pre-bookings will be given within 48 hours.
