About the event
Forming the start of the Kilimanjaro Group's training, this easy hike up four of the lesser known Alfred Wainwright's 116 Lake District "infants" this is a great intro to hiking. Â Located in the southern edges of the Lake District, Devoke Water has a quiet and tranquil feel to it, away from teh hustle and bustle of Lakeland's honeypot spots. Â This route loops the water, bagging four of Wainwright's outlying fells: Rough Crag, Water Crag, White Pike and Seat How, which all deliver superb views (hopefully) north into the heart of the Lakes and west to the Irish Sea.
